Online Banking Updates and Enhancements November 14; Brief Service Interruption

Our annual upgrade to Capital City Bank Online Banking and the CCBMobile app is scheduled for Thurs., Dec. 3, at 7 a.m. Eastern. This update should be quicker than in previous years – fewer than 30 minutes – and is timed to minimize disruption to our clients and allow for standard processing of bill payments, ACH and wire transfers, and transfers between Capital City accounts. During maintenance, online banking and the CCBMobile app will be unavailable. Once complete, clients should update the CCBMobile app on their mobile devices.

Enhancements to Online and Mobile Banking
All clients will find two new options under Services on the main menu: Travel Notifications and Reorder Checks. Travel Notification was added in early August as a preview of enhancements to come. The ability to reorder checks from within online or mobile banking has been requested by clients consistently over the years, so we are pleased to be able to offer it with this upgrade.

Additionally, more than a dozen Accessibility updates will provide better functionality for keyboard-only users, screen readers and other assistive devices. These enhancements include amount fields read in a more human-friendly way (“one hundred dollars”), alt-text descriptions added to check/deposit images so client will know when images are attached to specific transactions, and announcements when areas of the service are filtered, expanded or collapsed (e.g. in the Activity Center).

Treasury Management clients will encounter the most notable enhancements with redesigned Payments, Templates and Recipients pages. These pages have been streamlined and simplified with fewer clicks and icons, single page views and tabbing capability to improve workflow. Plus, our clients will have a simplified Quick Positive Pay option for mobile devices and an overall better-optimized experience when using a mobile device or tablet to access their online banking service
