What is the Capital City Bank Loan Payment Portal?
Our Loan Payment Portal is a convenient way for all clients to make payments on their loans electronically – whether or not they have a deposit relationship (checking or savings account) with Capital City Bank. However, borrowers with a Capital City Bank deposit account are encouraged to make loan payments by transfer between accounts in their online banking service. See additional Frequently Asked Questions for information on setting up loan payments within your Capital City Bank online banking service.

Who should use the Capital City Bank Loan Payment Portal?
Anyone who needs to make a payment on a Capital City Bank loan may use the Loan Payment Portal. However, clients who have a deposit relationship (checking or savings account) with us may find it more convenient to make loan payments through their Capital City Bank OnLine service.

I usually make my payments over the phone. Can I still do that?
Yes, you may still call our Client Service Center for assistance with making a loan payment. There is no cost for this service at this time.

How do I enroll to use the Loan Payment Portal?
Simply visit ccbg.com/loanpayment and click on “Pay using the Loan Payment Portal.” Have the loan number and last four digits of the primary loan account holder’s Social Security Number handy and follow the prompts where it says “Enroll.” You will select your own login credentials – LoginID and password – at the time of enrollment.

What is my login information?
When you enrolled through the Loan Payment Portal at ccbg.com/loanpayment, you selected your own LoginID and password. If you’ve forgotten that information, go to the portal at the address above and, under Login, click “Forgot LoginID” or “Password Help” for assistance.

Do I need to enroll to use the Loan Payment Portal?
No. Enrollment is not necessary, only encouraged. By enrolling, you have access to your loan statement, can schedule recurring payments, may view your payment history and invite others to make payments on specific loans.

I don’t want to enroll, but would like to make a payment online. What do I do?
You can make a one-time payment using your loan number and the last four digits of the primary loan account holder’s Social Security Number to verify the account. Go to ccbg.com/loanpayment and complete the information needed to “Pay Now.” An e-mail confirmation of the payment will be sent from the following address to the address you provided when scheduling the payment: donotreply_CCBG@transactis.com.

Is there a fee to use the Loan Payment Portal?
No, there is no cost for either recurring or one-time payments made through the Loan Payment Portal.

Can all loans be paid through this service?
Yes. Both business and consumer loans can be paid through our Loan Payment Portal.

Can I make my loan payment with a credit card?
No, a loan payment cannot be made with a credit card. You will need the financial institution routing number and account numbers of the checking or savings account from which you wish to pay.

Will I be able to make principal payments or select how the payment is applied?
No. Principal-only payments are not accepted through the Loan Payment Portal. Consult your loan documents for information on how your payments are applied.

Can partial loan payments be made through the Loan Payment Portal?
Yes. Partial payments may be made using the Loan Payment Portal. This will not advance your due date unless the total of any partial payments made equals a full payment.

Can loan payoffs be made through the Loan Payment Portal?
No. Please contact our Client Service Center for payoff assistance.

Can I set up recurring payments?
Yes, you may set up recurring, automatic payments in the Loan Payment Portal.

Can other people make my payment for me?
Yes. You can invite people to pay your bill by sending them an e-mail invitation from the Loan
Payment Portal. You provide their e-mail address, and the portal will send an invitation linking them to your account.

How long before a payment will be credited to my loan account?
Your account will be credited the same business day if the payment is made before 8 p.m. Eastern. Any payments made after 8 p.m. Eastern will be credited the following business day – applies to both online and telephone payments.

Is there a daily limit on how large a payment can be?
Yes. The maximum payment amount permitted per day is $4,000.

How soon would I need to stop an item to prevent payment from being made?
If it is a recurring payment made through the Loan Payment Portal, you can cancel the payment up until the day before it is completed. However, you will not be able to stop a one-time payment once you “submit” the payment on the website.

Will I receive confirmation of my payment?
Yes. A confirmation e-mail will be sent from the following address to the address you provided: donotreply_CCBG@transactis.com.

Is there any instance where I would no longer be eligible to make online payments?
Yes. If you have three (3) returned items, we will no longer be able to accept your payments through the Loan Payment Portal.

Can I view my payment history?
Yes. As long as you’ve completed enrollment and activation and have your log in credentials for the Loan Payment Portal, you may view your payment history at any time. Payments made through the portal can be viewed indefinitely.

> Make Payments by Transfer with My Capital City Bank Online Banking Service

Who should use the Capital City Bank online banking service to make loan payments?
Any client who has a deposit relationship (checking or savings account) and a loan with us is eligible to make loan payments conveniently using their Capital City Bank OnLine service. Making a loan payment is as simple as completing a transfer from your deposit account to your loan account, the same as you would from checking to savings.

I have a Capital City Bank deposit account, but am not enrolled in online banking. How do I sign up?
To get signed up, you’ll need an e-mail address and Internet access with a web browser that supports 128-bit SSL encryption. Enroll at www.ccbg.com by clicking “Sign Up for Online Banking” on the homepage and completing the registration form or by chatting with a banker. You may also call our Client Service Center at 888.671.0400 or stop by your local Capital City Bank office during business hours to enroll.

Now that I’ve enrolled in online banking, when will I be able to use it?
Within 24-48 business hours after completing the registration form, you will receive an e-mail that contains your new online banking login ID and password. Visit www.ccbg.com to login with your new ID and password to begin using your online banking service.

I am enrolled in online banking, but have never used the service to make a loan payment. How do I get started?
If you would like to use a Capital City checking or savings account that is already linked to your online banking service to make a loan payment, simply complete a transfer from your deposit account to your loan account. If the Capital City account(s) you wish to use are not currently linked to your existing online banking service, request they be linked by sending a secure e-mail through the online banking message center, chatting with a banker on our website, calling our Client Service Center at 888.671.0400, or stopping by your local Capital City Bank office during business hours.

How do I make a loan payment by transfer through my online banking service?
Log in to your Capital City Bank online banking service and click “Transfers” in the menu on the left side. Select the checking or savings account you would like transfer from and the loan account you would like to make payment to. Under “Payment options,” you may choose how you would like to apply the payment (regular payment, principal only, etc.). Then enter the payment amount and frequency and select “Transfer Funds."  A confirmation message will appear on the screen.

Once I make a loan payment through my online banking service, how long before it is credited to my loan account?
Your account will be credited the same business day if the payment is made before 8 p.m. Eastern. Any payments made after 8 p.m. Eastern will be credited the following business day.

Is there a fee to make a loan payment through online banking?
No, there is no fee to make a loan payment through online banking.

I usually make my payments over the phone. May I still do that?

Can I set up recurring payments?
Yes, you may set up a recurring automatic transfer from your Capital City checking or savings account to your loan account. To do this, you will need to complete an Auto Funds Transfer (AFT) Form by phone, via online chat, or in person at your local Capital City Bank office.

Will I be able to make principal payments or select how the payment is applied?
Yes. While making your transfer from a Capital City account, select “Only apply payment to principal.” from the “Payment type” drop-down menu.

Can partial loan payments be made through online banking?
Yes, you can pay any amount using the transfer option in your online banking service. This will not advance your due date unless the total of any partial payments made equals a full payment.

Can loan payoffs be made through online banking?
Yes. Please call our Client Service Center to get an exact payoff amount. Then, make your loan payment for this amount via transfer from your Capital City account as you normally would.

Is there a limit on how large the payment can be?
No. There is no limit on the amount of the payment when transferring from a Capital City account to a Capital City loan.

Can all loans be paid through this service?
Yes. Both business and consumer loan payments can be made through your online banking service.

How soon would I need to stop an item to prevent payment from being made?
If it is a recurring transfer made through your online banking service, you can cancel/delete the transfer up until the day before it is completed. A one-time transfer must be canceled by 8 p.m. Eastern on the day of the transfer.

Will I receive confirmation of my payment?
Yes, a confirmation number will be displayed on the screen shortly after you have submitted the payment.

Is there any instance where I would no longer be eligible to make online payments?
No. As long as funds are available in your Capital City deposit account and your online banking service is active, you will be able to make a transfer payment to your Capital City loan.

Can I view my payment history?
Yes. You may view your payment history in your online banking service. View the activity on all your accounts by selecting "Activity Center" on the home page or select the appropriate loan to view payment history.  

I have just signed up for online banking and want to use my Capital City account to make loan payments in the future, but I need to make a payment today! What do I do?
If you need to make a payment today and your accounts are not linked in your online banking service yet, you may use our Loan Payment Portal. Have your loan account number handy and select “Pay Now.” Follow the prompts to make a one-time payment. A confirmation e-mail will be sent from the following address to the address provided: donotreply_CCBG@transactis.com. There is no charge to use the Loan Payment Portal.

You also may request a transfer of funds from your Capital City deposit account by calling or chatting with our Client Service Center during normal business hours. There is no charge for this service at this time.
