Greg Shumate has been an industry leader for over three decades. His expertise lies in driving results through strategic planning, collaboration and innovation. He started the company in 2006 and has overseen its growth to become a top lender in the Southeast. Under his leadership, Capital City Home Loans has seen a steady increase in sales over the last two years and has expanded to 31 locations, doing business in nine states. He serves on the boards of directors for several financial institutions, non-profits and industry overseers.

Alex Koutouzis has over 20 years of experience building companies in the mortgage industry. Koutouzis is a results-driven, detail-oriented executive with a proven history of strategic growth in volume and profit-driven sales operations. Since joining Capital City Home Loans in mid-2010, he has focused on expanding the sales force, increasing production and improving infrastructure and efficiencies. He has opened a new operations center, doubled the average volume per loan officer in addition to establishing and managing the compliance, marketing and training departments.
