Capital City Bank proudly recognizes two members of its Tallahassee team of bankers for their recent officer promotions: Regional Experience Manager Dustin Bowden and Private Banker Mike Dasher have been named vice president.
Bowden began his Capital City Bank career in September 2021 as a client experience manager and was promoted to the position of regional experience manager in February 2023. As regional experience manager working out of the Capital City Bank Office at 1801 Apalachee Parkway, he is responsible for overseeing operations and ensuring consistent and exceptional delivery of Bank products and services at five local banking offices. Outside of work, Bowden is a devoted family man and father of two children. He dedicates much of his spare time volunteering at Leon High School, his children’s school, and for Meals on Wheels. Bowden holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dasher joined Capital City Bank as a wealth advisor in September 2022, bringing more than seven years of experience in the financial industry and 13 years of experience in charitable gift planning and development with Florida State University. In July 2023, Dasher transitioned within the Company, joining its Private Banking team. As a private banker, Dasher serves as a single point of contact providing comprehensive advice on every aspect of financial life – from deposit accounts and loans to investments and insurance, including retirement planning, estate and tax planning and risk management. He is a graduate of Florida State University and holds a bachelor’s degree in business management. Dasher is an active community volunteer, currently serving as a member of the Tallahassee Regional Estate Planning Council, Tallahassee Quarterback Club, Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce and Economic Club of Florida. He also attends St. John’s Episcopal Church in Tallahassee.
Capital City Bank is proud to have been named one of Florida Trend magazine’s “Best Companies to Work For in Florida” twelve years in a row and the American Banker magazine’s “Best Banks to Work For” every year since the list’s inception in 2013. Capital City Bank continues to receive industry recognition of this kind because of the diligent and dedicated work of associates like Bowden and Dasher, who exemplify a commitment to service excellence and exceptional experiences, which is at the foundation of the Capital City Bank “More than your bank. Your banker.” brand promise.
